This role maintains and repairs facility systems, grounds, vehicles, generators, and diesel-powered equipment while handling routine and emergency maintenance needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in facilities maintenance and diesel mechanics or related trade.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to lift, climb, bend.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and diesel-powered vehicles or machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, generators, pumps, motors, hydraulics, and related equipment.
  • Complete general building repairs, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC-related tasks.
  • Inspect and maintain facility systems, tools, safety equipment, and grounds.
  • Repair doors, locks, lighting, fixtures, walls, flooring, and other building components.
  • Perform routine inspections and document completed work.
  • Respond to equipment failures and urgent facility maintenance requests.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable environmental requirements.

Job description

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, is seeking a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technicianwith experience in diesel mechanics and general building maintenance. Required Qualifications
  • Experience in facilities maintenance, diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, or a related trade
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems
  • Ability to perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills for work orders and maintenance records
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical training or certification in diesel technology, building maintenance, or a related field
  • Experience maintaining generators or emergency power systemsWelding or fabrication experience
  • HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry experience

Pay Range:$22.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
