Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MN to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment, including cranes, welding and CNC machines.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in maintenance on process equipment, machinery, tools and facilities systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair production and facility equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete required paperwork/documentation.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment; initiate repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with electrical/construction contractors and other third-party vendors.
• Perform building maintenance and grounds upkeep; maintain lighting/air conditioning.
• Install, move or rearrange equipment and maintain 5S within the department.
• Assist in Kaizen events and support continuous improvement.
• Follow local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations.
• Safely operate all plant mobile equipment.
