Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of stores, fixtures, and equipment. You will work under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance calls, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs with a range of trades. Eligible for full benefits, bonuses, and a 401(k) plan, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance, preferably in retail or facilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts.
• Utilize the work order system to receive and document repairs for Stores.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety and training for equipment operation.
