Atlas Van Lines is looking for a dependable Building & Grounds Maintenance Technician II to support day-to-day upkeep of our facilities in Evansville, IN. You will perform routine maintenance, fixes, and assist with operations to keep spaces safe, functional, and welcoming for employees and visitors.

The role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, hands-on work, and taking pride in high-quality spaces. 2+ years of related experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, systems, and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to complete repairs and maintenance work.
• Maintain facility grounds, including lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests and urgent issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with facility improvements, renovations, and space setups.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
