Job summary

Promises Behavioral Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to maintain the facility for clients and staff, support a preventative maintenance program, and resolve immediate operational safety concerns.

The role covers daily maintenance and repairs, inspections, coordinating bids from outside vendors, supervising maintenance personnel, and upholding Fire, Environmental and HAZMAT safety codes. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum three years of work experience in maintenance related to HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to obtain any required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance and repairs to ensure facilities are safe and functional.
• Maintains local and state required inspections for the facility.
• Assists other locations as needed and coordinates with vendors for bids.
• Manages preventative maintenance plan and on-call system for emergencies.
• Supervises maintenance staff and may oversee construction projects.
• Ensures compliance with Fire, Environmental and HAZMAT safety codes.
