Huyett in Deer Park/La Porte, TX, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to sustain clean, safe operations in a new 90,000 sq. ft. warehousing facility. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, and install assets, supporting a high-growth distribution operation.

The role emphasizes 1st shift hours, compliance with OSHA/ISO standards, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work with mechanical/electrical equipment and follow instructions.
• Certifications or technical degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas following 6S and housekeeping best practices.
• Support maintenance work orders and daily schedules.
• Assist with inventory control of tools, MRO supplies, and facility assets.
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Ensure machinery and assets are kept in good working order.
• Follow OSHA, environmental, safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and cost-reduction efforts.
