Job summary

The Guitar Center Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Brownsburg, IN facility in safe, efficient operation. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on conveyors, lift trucks, electrical and HVAC systems, plumbing, and building components.

You will use CMMS software and parts manuals to locate needed parts and ensure minimal downtime, while upholding safety standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance areas such as conveyor systems, Raymond electric lift trucks, or electrical systems (including 480V 3 phase).
• Willingness to train in label applicators, bar code scanners, box erectors, lift truck battery changing and service, dock plates, overhead doors, air compressors, plumbing, welding/fabrication, HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility equipment to minimize downtime for operations.
• Repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and powered equipment.
• Perform repairs on electrical and lighting systems, HVAC, plumbing, and restroom fixtures.
• Utilize CMMS and Parts Manuals to locate parts and schedule maintenance.
• Interior finish work such as painting and drywall; general building and grounds upkeep.
• Meet safety standards and adapt to changing work schedule as required.
