Job summary

Core Scientific, Inc. seeks a hands-on facilities technician to support on-site data center operations. You will perform routine maintenance, read manuals, diagnose problems, and collaborate with supervisors to keep equipment running smoothly.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of manufacturing or facilities experience, and abilities in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical trades; PLC experience and HVAC preferred. Occasional travel to other sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or facilities maintenance.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical skills with HVAC preferred.
• Willing to follow guidance from staff and management; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures; perform LOTO.
• Operate CMMS and manage inventory of tools and parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust; read work orders.
• Maintain clean work areas and communicate with the team and supervisors.
• Handle minor repairs across building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Lift up to 40 pounds and work in data center, office, and shop environments.
