Job summary

CAF LLC in Fresno, CA is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant plant environment. The role covers routine janitorial tasks, light maintenance, and adherence to safety and environmental standards in an agricultural chemical setting.

Candidates should reside within commuting distance of Fresno and be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work, with duties spanning cleaning, minor repairs, and supply coordination.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of janitorial/custodial or maintenance work in industrial setting.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of common areas, restrooms, offices, and production spaces.
• Handle waste disposal and chemical-related materials per guidelines.
• Conduct minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Follow OSHA/EPA safety protocols and report hazards promptly.
• Maintain stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies and proper chemical storage.
• Act as supply runner and retrieve items for the facility.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams; support packaging line during high demand; participate in safety meetings.
