Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a skilled facilities carpenter to maintain the buildings and complete work orders across masonry, tile, pavers, and woodwork. You will handle daily trouble calls from the dispatcher and assist on special projects as directed by supervisors or leads.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of carpentry and construction experience, with preferred roofing experience and the ability to work across several trades. Equal opportunity employer. EOE.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years general carpentry and construction including framing, drywall, trim work, masonry and tile required.
• 3-5 years commercial roofing experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Rough in carpentry including framing, sheet goods, wood decking and dock work; repair wood and metal stud work.
• Trim work including moldings, turning, laminate, cabinet work, window and door installation.
• Install/repair exterior finishes including Dry-Vit, EIFS and Stucco.
• Repair and finish walkways and roadways within the parks.
• Inspect and maintain theater seating, furniture, restroom stall doors and partitions.
• Install/repair interior wall and floor tiles and coverings.
• Install/repair hardware such as door closures, panic hardware, mortise and cylindrical locks.
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate in team activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
