Job summary

A fitness services company in Texas is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to handle building and equipment maintenance in their clubs. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the facilities are in top condition. A proven background in maintenance and proficiency with tools are essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are also crucial. This is a part-time, non-exempt hourly position.

• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
• Performing preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Perform basic facility and structure repairs/maintenance.
• Repairing machines and equipment.
• Coordinate with the Club Development Team on major facility issues and repairs.
• Partnering with the General manager and Operations Manager to discuss club maintenance needs.
• Maintain the club’s Maintenance Log.

Position Overview

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building and equipment maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in multiple fields (basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, HVAC, carpentry, etc.). Performs equipment preventive maintenance and repair. Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned. This is a full time, non-exempt hourly position, reporting to the District Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Club Development Team on major facility issues and repairs.
• Partnering with the General manager and Operations Manager to discuss club maintenance needs.
• Maintain the club’s Maintenance Log (UpKeep).
