Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center in Laurel, MT is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance and safety operations of the center, including fire and safety compliance.

You will implement preventative maintenance programs, coordinate repairs, ensure adherence to building codes, and conduct drills to protect residents and staff. The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• General experience in equipment maintenance.
• Able to assess physical plant problems and respond.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC unit maintenance and repairs.
• Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations.
• Demonstrated skills in construction techniques.
• Knowledge of materials used in building construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains established preventative maintenance programs.
• Performs basic repairs to plumbing, electrical, and equipment.
• Coordinates compliance with local, state, and federal codes and guidelines for safety and other relevant rules and regulations.
• Conducts fire and disaster preparedness drills as required.
• Coordinates annual maintenance programs.
• Maintains inventory control for all general supplies parts and equipment.
