Job summary

Oakmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation of Humble is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. You will manage preventive maintenance, oversee HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators, and coordinate schedules and budgets with a focus on high standards of care.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare facility maintenance preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols.
• Budgeting and supply management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program: develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: oversee external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Maintain standards: ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and operational readiness.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules: plan staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.
