Job summary

Premier Healthcare, LLC is seeking a full-time maintenance worker to perform general building and grounds maintenance under supervision. The role includes assisting at the work site, transporting materials and tools, and completing daily tasks in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities also cover bulb replacement, equipment repairs, grounds keeping, cemetery burial arrangements, and meticulous record-keeping of completed work and requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job maintenance training preferred.
• Experience in a Long-Term Care maintenance setting is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist workers at the work site by transporting materials and tools and help with projects.
• Replace light bulbs and perform routine repairs to building and equipment; inspect and report damage.
• Perform grounds keeping tasks: cut grass, shovel snow, trim shrubs, plant flowers, repair walks and parking lot lines.
• Arrange for cemetery burials; coordinate with undertaker and outside contractors to open/close graves; update records.
• Log completed work and process routine maintenance and order request forms.
