Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Planner Scheduler to lead the planning and coordination of maintenance and project activities across our operations. This role is essential in ensuring that work is scheduled efficiently, resources are allocated appropriately, and activities are executed with minimal disruption to daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Plan and schedule major jobs across one or multiple sites, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and minimal disruption to production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, production, and EHS to develop detailed job plans and timelines.
  • Incorporate system interdependencies and area-specific requirements into all planning activities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to assess job scope, communicate plans, and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Maintain and update planning tools, schedules, and documentation to reflect current job status and future needs.
  • Lead pre-job planning meetings and post-job reviews to ensure continuous improvement in planning and execution.
  • Support the development of contingency plans for high-risk or complex jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve non-system generated work orders and ensure proper closure documentation.
  • Process and manage CMMS workflows, acting as both a reviewer and approver.
  • Serve as owner of associated SOPs, Work Instructions (WIs), and On-the-Job Trainings (OJTs) related to planning and scheduling.
  • Manage Work Order administration-related training records.
  • Conduct maintenance assessments for change controls to evaluate operational impact.
  • Track and manage financial budgets related to areas of responsibility.
  • Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scheduler Planner in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment required
  • 4 –6 years of equipment maintenance experience, preferably within a regulated or industrial environment
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of data analysis tools and reporting
  • Familiarity with Lean principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, or equivalent experience

The compensation for the position is: $38.25 - $45.00
