Job summary

International Leadership of Texas is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair campus facilities across a region. This role serves as the point of contact for building issues, coordinates with outside contractors, and supports emergency responses 24/7.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in project management, vendor management, facilities and/or maintenance preferred.
• Maintain a valid Texas driver’s license at all times throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary contact for all personnel for any building issues (climate control, odors, smoke, spills, damage, emergencies and repairs).
• Monitors contractor performance and works with vendors to ensure work meets specifications, including janitorial services.
• May act as the project coordinator for large and small projects including repairs and new facilities.
• Assists with maintaining building security and responds to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
• Assists the Facilities Director in preparing the annual maintenance budget.
• Solicits bids and quotes from vendors.
• Monitors and replaces light bulbs; performs basic plumbing and electrical work as needed.
• Coordinates moves and event setup; oversees furniture dismantling and installation.
• Handles shipments and deliveries; supports custodial staff as needed.
