Job summary

Provincial Senior Living—Part of the Discovery Senior Living Family in Visalia—seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Manager for our Independent Living community. This hands-on role leads maintenance activities, oversees repairs, and participates in the leadership team to keep residents safe and comfortable.

You will maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, manage work orders, coordinate vendors, and monitor budgets while supporting operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; technical certification preferred
• 4+ years of hands-on maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Experience managing work orders and preventative maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and systems proficiency

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs, work orders, and preventative maintenance
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure readiness
• Respond to after-hours maintenance needs as required
• Coordinate vendors and support maintenance-related services
• Monitor maintenance budgets, supplies, and expenses
• Support housekeeping and community operations as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
