Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Westbrook, ME is seeking a Maintenance Lead to coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to maintain cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition throughout the store and property, meeting physical requirements of the role.

You will supervise maintenance associates, plan daily tasks, train and coach staff, order supplies, perform minor repairs, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety programs while delivering outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, delegate and follow up with job duties assigned to associates for completeness.
• Produce daily assignment sheets.
• Provide training, instruction, follow up and coaching to maintenance associates.
• Make recommendations for maintenance activities needing additional attention.
• Maintain adequate supply levels for all maintenance activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakroom and all restrooms.
• Sweep and damp mop all floors on a daily basis.
• Clean up spills during your shift.
• Empty all trash inside and outside of store.
• Schedule rotation and cleaning of dairy shelves.
• Schedule cleaning of glass dairy and frozen food doors.
• Sweep parking lot with designated equipment.
• Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures as needed.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety, fire prevention, and security standards.
• Maintain productivity levels at or above company standards.
• Communicate repairs and maintenance needs to management.
