Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or field service maintenance experience (Level II/III preferred).
• 2+ years leading or supervising a technical team.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Comfort with frequent travel to store locations across the market.
• Proficient with scheduling and spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets, Excel).
• Valid driver's license, insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background/MVR checks.
• Willingness for rotating on-call schedule and after-hours service.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Document maintenance tasks in mobile work order systems.
• Monitor departmental budgets to align with financial goals.

Position Overview

Join WhiteWater Express Car Wash as a Facilities Maintenance Lead. Our fast-growing company boasts over 130 locations across TX, OK, LA, OH, KY, SC and MI—and we're just getting started. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on being in the field and tackling challenges head-on at multiple locations. We're seeking a hands-on leader with strong mechanical skills and experience managing technical teams to play a critical role in our Facilities team, keeping our sites operating at peak performance. Base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 + bonus potential up to $10,000

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and coordinate daily activities for a team of regional Maintenance Technicians
• Travel to car wash locations across the market for repairs and equipment installations
• Perform hands-on maintenance by diagnosing and repairing car wash equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and low-voltage electrical systems (5V and above, up to 480V).
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V/230V 3-phase motor control centers (MCCs).
• VFD troubleshooting and installation
• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Communicate effectively with Operations teams and vendors to coordinate repairs and projects
• Oversee and perform building maintenance: plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Accurately document and update all maintenance tasks accurately within multiple mobile work order management systems
• Monitor and review departmental budgets to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of industrial or field service maintenance experience (Maintenance Level II or III preferred)
• 2 years of experience leading or supervising a technical team
• Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including low-voltage motor controls
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make field-based decisions
• Must be comfortable with frequent travel to store locations across assigned market
• Experience with team scheduling and spreadsheet software (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel)
• Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation (must pass background check and MVR/driving record review)
• Available for a rotating on-call schedule, including after-hours service needs
• Comfortable coordinating efforts with contractors and vendors as needed
• Willingness to take on new challenges daily and adapt to rapidly changing environments
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in outdoor, all-weather conditions
