Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory maintenance/plant-related experience.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand building codes and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet the maintenance needs of the facility
• Identify hazards to residents or staff safety and act to maintain a safe environment
• Repair, replace, and procure items per policy
• Plan and document preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain weather protection for building and grounds
• Supervise outside contractors
• On-call for emergencies and off-hours
• Perform errands and tasks as required
• Maintain exterior upkeep in all weather
• Demonstrate safety techniques per policy and training
