Elba Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the ongoing upkeep, safety, and reliability of our state-of-the-art facility. You will manage routine and preventative maintenance, coordinate with departments, and ensure timely responses to maintenance requests.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Entry-level candidates welcome, with a focus on safety and quality of service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing and replacing equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Respond to resident and staff requests for repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all maintenance areas are clean, organized, and meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in safety inspections and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance efforts.
