Job summary

The Northbridge Companies is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical infrastructure of our community, ensuring safety, reliability, and curb appeal. This full-time role combines hands-on technical work with strategic planning and strong leadership, including some weekend and on-call duties.

You will lead maintenance and housekeeping staff, manage work orders, coordinate vendor bids, and contribute to budget planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in maintenance or housekeeping management.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to work with residents, families, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on community equipment and document hazards.
• Maintain grounds and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Establish and maintain a work order system.
• Receive and negotiate outside bids for contracts as directed.
• Act as main contact for vendors performing maintenance work.
• Contribute input to operational and capital budgets.
• Lead maintenance and housekeeping staff.
