Job summary

Nestlé Quality Assurance Center in the United States seeks a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to keep campus facilities safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. You will inspect, repair, and service electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and campus equipment, supporting external subcontractors and internal teams.

This role requires hands-on skills, ability to work weekends/overtime, and adherence to OSHA/Nestlé safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Trade School Diploma or 1-2 years in Maintenance, Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical preferred.
  • Team oriented with eagerness to learn and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of physically demanding tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment and maintain HVAC/building systems.
  • Maintain lighting, general maintenance, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing.
  • Keep campus grounds and exterior in good condition.
  • Maintain records and inventory for equipment and supplies.
  • Support campus shuttle fleet maintenance with service providers.
  • Respond to building requests through Archibus and ensure safety standards.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is part of the teamthat delivers the spaces and experiences which help ouremployees thrive. Facilities maintenance andengineering manages facility repair, construction and
design, and all building services. This role requires aprofessional who will be responsible for conducting
general maintenance and repairs on our campusequipment and property structures. This role will ensurethe electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems perform atoptimum functionality to ensure an operational andcomfortable working environment for our employees. Thegoal of this professional is to maintain the facilities andcommon areas in their best possible condition at all times.This role will also support by providing knowledge of ourlocal systems to external subcontractors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Repair faulty equipment.
  • Responsible for HVAC systems building automation controls to maintain climate control.
  • Responsible for all lighting in buildings with replacements or repairs as needed.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and plumbing.
  • Maintain good exterior condition of buildings and campus grounds.
  • Maintain records and inventory for equipment and supplies for facilities.
  • Maintain the campus shuttle fleet with fueling, oil changes, and basic safety operation partnering with service providers as needed.
  • Perform workplace adjustments as needed, physical moves of furniture & equipment on campus.
  • Respond and complete all building requests through our Archibus system in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Nestle safety standards while performing day to day activities.
  • Support and assist with all local design and construction projects as needed.
  • Availability of working weekends and or overtime as needed.
  • Must maintain good housekeeping standards keeping work area's neat and orderly, and floors free of slip and trip hazards throughout campus at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Trade School Diploma or 1-2 years of experience in Maintenance, Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical preferred
  • Team oriented and eager to learn new skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to communicate well with others, orally and written
  • Effective in brainstorming & problem solving
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders
  • Capable of Lifting heavy objects of 50lbs

Preferred qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office – (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • CPR certified
  • EPA certified

Preferred experience:

  • Experience with scissor lifts, comfortable working at heights
