Job summary

Buc-ee's Kansas City LLC is seeking a Janitorial/Cleaning & Maintenance Manager to direct maintenance staff and ensure clean, safe store operations in the Kansas City area. The role requires supervisory experience, the ability to work long shifts, and hands-on coordination with store management and vendors.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage diverse maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance and supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours on hard and uneven surfaces.
• Repetitive motion with hands, wrists and shoulders.
• Operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
• Good vision and depth perception.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders or work at heights.
• Work with little supervision at a rapid pace for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and control the efforts of the Maintenance staff.
• Direct training of employees to improve performance and acquaint staff with policies.
• Oversee repairs and maintenance of store equipment with management teams and vendors.
• Evaluate maintenance activities to improve operations and equipment conditions.
• Observe safety and security procedures.
