Job summary

Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center (NRCC) is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient environment for our residents and staff, supporting daily operations of the facility and making a positive difference.

The role involves assisting with cleaning, minor repairs, and maintenance, with on-call coverage and emergency preparedness as needed. Compensation includes a generous PTO and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Performing routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Assisting with grounds keeping and facility maintenance projects.
• Providing support to the Maintenance Department as needed.
• Participating in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed.
