Qualifications

• Two years of work experience in building maintenance repair work or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace window panes, screens, door locks, and bathroom fixtures.
• Repair roof leaks and adjust/rehang doors.
• Cut and install shelves and shoe racks.
• Replace rotted boards and repaint interior walls; sand surfaces.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and sewer systems.
• Replace shower valves, faucets, and related fixtures.
• Clear clogged toilets and drains; repair or replace valves.
• Make minor electrical repairs; replace fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Mix cement or mortar; perform basic construction and material handling.
• Use hand tools and some power equipment; transport materials as needed.
