Job summary

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the care and operation of OSF’s extensive facilities, including three major performance venues, approximately 80 apartments, and multiple ancillary buildings and properties.

This role is ideal for a seasoned facilities leader who combines technical expertise with strong people, project, and budget management skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management, building maintenance, construction, or related field.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience reading architectural drawings, specs, and construction documents.
• Strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facilities Operations: Oversee maintenance, custodial services, grounds, building systems, security, and facilities work across OSF properties.
• Manage and develop a Facilities team, including supervision of staff and contractors.
• Maintain critical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, etc.) and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Lead capital projects and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Manage operating and capital budgets, oversee purchasing, expenditures, and vendor relationships.
