Job summary

A community support organization is seeking a Lead Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order within its facilities. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, responding to requests, and ensuring high cleanliness standards. This full-time role offers a work schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Custodial, janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• An active Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure bathrooms, hallways, and kitchens are kept clean.
• Perform routine heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping.
• Respond to maintenance requests including light repairs.
• Move furniture as needed.
• Stock supplies for cafeterias and kitchenettes.
• Monitor and check work to meet quality standards.
