Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operates, monitors, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains wet laboratory systems to ensure water quality, flow, temperature, and oxygenation needed for research.
  • Performs and schedules preventive and corrective maintenance on water treatment and filtration equipment.
  • Maintains lakeside pump house and intake/return systems.
  • Operates, maintains, and adjusts building automation and process control systems.
  • Performs facility maintenance for campus buildings, grounds, and laboratory requirements.
  • Analyzes and resolves mechanical, hydronic, electrical, and facility-system issues.
  • Provides technical input for statements of work, cost estimates, and material requests for repairs and upgrades.
