Job summary

Furniture Enterprises of Alaska, Inc. is seeking a full-time Facilities & Janitorial team member in Wasilla, AK to maintain clean, safe showroom and back-area spaces. You will perform cleaning, disinfecting, trash removal and duty coverage.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Physically capable of operating drivable floor cleaning equipment.
• Able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.
• Able to be on feet walking, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of building areas, including restrooms.
• Pick up trash and debris.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Monitor for and report any unsafe conditions.
• Assist with other duties assigned.
• Snow shoveling.
