Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a dedicated Janitor in Plano, TX for full-time and part-time roles. The position focuses on general cleaning and preservation of client-site areas, with tasks tailored to customer specifications.

Morning shift and a 15.00 USD hourly rate apply, with weekly pay. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, plus restocking supplies and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
