Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or across multiple client sites, with flexibility to meet client specifications.

Compensation is $12 per hour, with shifts Monday through Sunday from 6 AM to 11 AM. We offer steady, full- and part-time work in janitorial services, maintenance, landscaping, and related facilities support, plus on-the-job training and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or minimum 6 months experience in janitorial work.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use appropriate disposal methods.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.
