About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Facilities Hygiene Coordinator to support their operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This role involves a blend of on-site oversight and remote coordination, ensuring that all company facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene. You will be responsible for developing and implementing hygiene programs, conducting regular site assessments, managing cleaning staff or external contractors, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of best practices in facility hygiene management. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe, healthy, and professional environment for employees and visitors within the Queenstown region and associated remote support functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive hygiene and sanitation plans for all facilities.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to assess cleanliness, identify risks, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff or third-party service providers.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
