KLD is seeking a dependable building handyman to maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and grounds. The role requires practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, and basic electrical work, with a focus on safety and quality.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of facility maintenance experience, strong time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a hands-on, on-site position supporting multiple properties and tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or vocational certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine building maintenance and repair activities.
• Inspect facilities regularly for maintenance and safety concerns.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, drywall, flooring, ceilings, and other components.
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains, fixtures).
• Perform minor electrical repairs (outlets, switches, fixtures, bulbs).
• Complete painting and surface repair projects as needed.
• Assemble, install, and repair office furniture and shelving.
• Maintain exteriors, walkways, landscaping, and parking areas.
• Respond to maintenance requests from management and staff.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs.
