Job summary

Tyson Foods in Tecumseh, Nebraska seeks a maintenance technician to operate rolling stock and perform general building maintenance, including snow removal and back-up wastewater treatment as needed. Shift work and overtime may be required.

The role requires safety-minded individuals with mechanical aptitude, the ability to use basic hand tools, forklifts, and pallet jacks, plus good communication to report logs and incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or industrial maintenance environment.
• Basic reading/writing skills for records and logs.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repair and maintenance on building and equipment.
• Operate rolling stock and company vehicles safely.
• Conduct snow/ice removal and grounds maintenance.
• Assist with wastewater treatment back-up when required.
• Respond to emergency maintenance as directed.
