Job summary

Sight & Sound, based in Ronks, PA, is seeking a Facilities Groundskeeper to maintain our outdoor spaces and assist with building maintenance. You will perform mowing, trimming, mulching, tree care, and snow/ice removal while keeping grounds clean and safe for guests and staff.

You will also support general building and vehicle maintenance, operate common maintenance equipment, and must hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grounds keeping duties including operating and maintaining the equipment.
• Familiarity with fertilization and/or chemicals for foliage control and plant varieties and care

Responsibilities

• Provide quality grounds maintenance for all Sight & Sound properties year-round.
• Mow grass, weed-eat, mulch, weed, prune trees, and manage snow and ice.
• Assist with building and vehicle maintenance and operate department equipment.

The Facilities Groundskeeper provides grounds maintenance services for Sight & Sound properties, maintains equipment and assists with general building maintenance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide quality grounds maintenance for all Sight & Sound properties year-round. This would include cutting grass, weed-eating, gardening, weeding, tree maintenance, mulching, and snow and ice treatment and removal.
• Support in building and vehicle maintenance, as well as department operation equipment.
• Help to create and keep an orderly and clean work environment to include all grounds and facility working areas.
  

Prerequisites

• Knowledge of grounds keeping duties including operating and maintaining the equipment
• Familiarity with fertilization and/or chemicals for foliage control and plant varieties and care
  

Other Skills And / Or Requirements

• Employee must have a valid driver's license and meet authorization standards to drive motorized vehicles.
  

The physical demands of this position are active in nature. You will be expected to be on your feet frequently, walk and stand regularly, consistently communicate with team members using a radio, work indoors, use ladders and other lift equipment, operate heavy machinery and power tools, and frequently lift/exert up to 50 lb.s of force.
