This full-time, non-exempt position involves hands-on maintenance work and on-site supervision of team members to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.

The role requires knowledge of facility systems, operations, and safety, with long hours and varying shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with sports facilities and related grounds/equipment.
• General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial, and landscaping.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Experience using maintenance equipment and procedures.
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Maintain facility appearance and cleanliness.
• Stock closets, toolboxes, and maintenance areas; organize tools.
• Coordinate cleaning around daily activities.
• Understand building internals (sprinklers, HVAC, alarms).
• Manage utilities and temperature controls.
• Maintain and repair playing surfaces.
• Schedule and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Contract maintenance with outside vendors when needed.
• Monitor facility appearance and grounds cleanliness.
• Coordinate repair work with directors and contractors.
• Monitor walkways, beds; remove weeds, trash, water, ice.
• Operate and maintain sports equipment.
• Maintain trees, shrubs and flower beds.
• Operate equipment machinery.
• Clean and maintain parking lot.
• Keep inventory and maintenance logs.
• Ensure paperwork is up to date.
• Complete special projects as directed.
