FMNE Insurance is seeking a Facilities & Grounds Technician to support the Administrative Services Department and help maintain our facilities, grounds, and equipment. The role emphasizes a safe, professional workplace and requires mechanical aptitude and reliability.

The position involves assisting in repairs, inspections, and daily custodial tasks, with weekend on-call duties and seasonal outdoor work. A valid driver’s license and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months experience in light maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform carpentry, basic plumbing/electrical, painting, and janitorial tasks.
• Must be available for overtime and some weekends.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic computer/documentation skills required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and tolerate varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Operations Manager in upkeep and safety of interior and exterior of buildings and grounds.
• Perform daily custodial tasks (vacuuming, dusting, restrooms, waste bins).
• Support inventory of custodial, building, and Mail Center supplies.
