Job summary

The Graham Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on facilities and equipment across our campus in New York. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of machine tools, electrical systems, and supporting infrastructure, following safety standards and working with contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical schooling in machining, welding, electrical or mechanical repair.
• High school diploma.
• 3+ years maintenance experience, preferably in facilities, machining and welding equipment.
• Willing to work overtime and be on call to address maintenance issues outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose trouble and repair machine tools, both mechanical and electrical.
• Oversee specialized contractors for campus projects.
• Train and mentor other team members on new tasks and skills.
• Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and process improvements.
