Fervo Energy is offering a 12-week Facilities Engineering Intern role designed to give you a real project from day one. You’ll work side-by-side with our engineering teams to support the Brine Transfer Unit scope and design reviews, with ownership of your project from kickoff to presentation to leadership.

Based in Houston, you’ll collaborate across cross-functional teams, develop technical documentation, and contribute to pipeline-related deliverables.

Internship Overview

You won't be running coffee orders or shuffling paperwork this summer. Position Description

Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station development in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth.

As a Facilities Engineering Intern, you'll dig into the Brine Transfer Unit (BTU), the gathering network that carries geothermal brine from the wellfield to the power block, supporting design review, technical documentation, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering degrees preferred
• Interest in facilities design and energy infrastructure
