Job summary

Autoliv United States is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee design, maintenance, and optimization of building systems across our facilities in the United States. You will ensure reliability, safety, and energy efficiency while coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical proficiency in HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and strong project management to support compliant operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management; certifications such as CFM or PE preferred
• Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems; strong analytical and project management skills
• Proven leadership and communication abilities with familiarity of regulatory standards
• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance planning, facility inspections, audits, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
• Coordinate with staff, contractors, and management to ensure safe, energy-efficient operations across facilities.
• Support safety compliance, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance planning.
