Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Rockford is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, kitchen equipment, and other building systems. The role requires hands-on repair skills, safety compliance, and the ability to respond quickly to service calls.

The incumbent reports to the Facilities Shift Supervisor/Manager, climbs ladders, and supports event setups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ years journeylevel maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification required for HVAC work.
• Must pass background check and have a valid license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements to maintain a safe workspace for team members and guests.
• Maintain, repair, and manage facility systems and operations.
• Respond to maintenance service calls promptly and document work orders.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with event setups and teardowns and support other departments as needed.
