Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time Facilities Engineer II. This position involves operating and maintaining mechanical systems across multiple medical buildings in the Chicago area, ensuring safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess relevant building maintenance experience, technical training, and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities include maintenance of high-pressure boilers, emergency responses, and scheduled inspections. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a rotating on-call schedule.
**This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position supporting multiple medical office buildings across the northern suburban Chicago area. The service area spans from Gurnee (north) to Glenview (south) and west to Grayslake.**
**The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with an on-call rotation required (one week of on-call coverage approximately every four weeks).**
