Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, smooth operation across guest rooms, restaurants, casino floors, and facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventative maintenance with a focus on guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of hotel or facility maintenance experience, strong communication, and a commitment to quality guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hotel or facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge and/or certification in plumbing, air handling, refrigeration, electricity, electronics, carpentry, flooring, kitchen equipment, or upholstery.
• 5 years of plumbing experience preferred.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality guest service.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
• Diagnose and perform repairs on equipment and systems across guest rooms, public spaces, restaurants, casino, and back-of-house areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, kitchen, and HVAC systems.
• Complete minor cosmetic repairs and installations for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assist in shift turnover by communicating pending work orders and unresolved maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
