Job summary

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Madison, WI is hiring a Facilities Engineer to address complex facility-related problems through data-driven action. You will communicate with multiple departments and guide site projects across utilities, BAS, and equipment to ensure compliant, safe operations. The role requires a B.S.

or M.S. in a relevant field with 3+ years (or 1+ years with an M.S.) of cGMP experience and BAS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. degree with 3+ years’ facilities operation/automation engineering in a cGMP environment (biopharmaceutical preferred).
• M.S. degree with 1+ years’ facilities operation/automation engineering in a cGMP environment (biopharmaceutical preferred).
• Building automation systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the utility systems at the site, including HVAC, process utilities, and bio-containment systems.
• Assess current and future state of site utility system capacity for improvement and maturity projects.
• Draft SOPs for building operation and maintenance.
• Provide engineering guidance and execution on facilities projects.
• Perform hands‑on activities to troubleshoot facility problems and support facility staff.
• Drive standards in Facility Engineering to ensure smooth communication, efficiency, and safety.
