Facilities Engineer (FE) (EPDII) Ingrasys Technology USA, Inc San Jose, CA What to Expect As a Facilities Engineer (FE), you will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility.
You will oversee facility operations, drive compliance with safety standards, and support cost-effective, reliable performance across all infrastructure and equipment.
Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise installations (e.g., telecommunications, heating, electrical systems) and facility refurbishments.
Manage equipment and supply maintenance in alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Inspect building structures to identify repair or renovation needs and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine safety audits and inspections, and lead the development of safety policies and procedures.
Optimize the use of space, utilities, and equipment to enhance efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies for cost reduction.
Assist in budget preparation, manage operating expenses, and oversee service contracts and insurance plans.
Maintain accurate financial and operational records.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align facility operations with production and organizational goals.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders regarding facility performance and equipment operations.
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent professional experience. 3–5 years of facility engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Solid understanding of facility design, construction, and maintenance best practices.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong commitment to deadlines and production objectives.
