Job summary

Ford Energy, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary, seeks a Facilities Engineer to ensure the technical integrity and uptime of a startup manufacturing environment. You will lead with integrity, optimize systems through data-driven maintenance, and own facilities reliability to deliver world-class energy products.

In this role you will drive strategic reliability, implement preventive programs, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Quality, and EHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of Facilities or Utilities engineering experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining Facilities/Utilities systems.
• Flexibility to support shifts, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Experience in high-growth manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, PLCs, automation, or SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Drive adherence to the Quality Operating System (QOS) and Production System standards.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of equipment with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Monitor system performance (pressures, flows, energy) for maximum efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting with root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain SOPs, P&IDs, and compliance logs to achieve Audit Ready status.
• Champion continuous improvement and capability development at the lowest level.
