Job summary

CBRE is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer to maintain and repair critical building systems at a large commercial facility in Beaverton, Oregon. The role involves mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC tasks to keep operations safe and efficient.

The position requires 4–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred CMMS and Microsoft Office proficiency. You will support preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections onsite, contributing

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
  • Universal CFC certification preferred; licenses as required by local/state jurisdictions.
  • Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety, and control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and energy efficiency standards.
  • Manage classification, packaging, labeling, and documentation for air shipments of dangerous goods when applicable.
  • Maintain an energy management program; optimize system operation for efficiency.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs and perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Follow policies for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
