Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer to oversee design, construction, operations, and maintenance of critical facilities and electrical systems at Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS sites.

You will coordinate multi-discipline projects, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with all standards while maintaining uptime for essential infrastructure. The role requires hands-on leadership and strong prioritization in a small, agile team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience with facilities engineering and/or construction.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of site development projects with other groups on site to maximize productivity.
• Contractor management including RFP, specification and selection of supplier.
• Provide technical engineering support to ensure construction/maintenance complies with standards, codes, and specifications.
• Commission, operate and maintain facilities with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Verify maintenance is completed and coordinate repair, build, and contingency systems for HVAC, high power, cranes, lighting, doors, roof leaks, security and fire protection systems.
