American Contract Group is seeking an experienced engineer to plan, design, and oversee reconfiguration and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and facilities in Utah.

You will coordinate with architecture/engineering firms, prepare bid sheets, and supervise inspections to ensure conformance to drawings and schedules. A mechanical or electrical engineering degree is required, with preference for experience in large chilled water and air conditioning systems.

Qualifications

• Requires AutoCAD experience and familiarity with building codes.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical fields is required.
• Experience with large chilled water and air conditioning systems preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Job Description

What you\'ll do:

• Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
• Schedules and coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
• Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
• Inspects or directs the inspection of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.

What is required:

• Must have AutoCAD experience be familiar with building and fire codes, previous experience with Siemens building software is desired
• Must have an Engineering degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical)
• Previous experience with large, chilled water systems and air conditioning systems
• Prefer 5 years\' experience in Electrical Engineering
